those things! We are working on an extremely high profile, multi-platform
project that is soon to be announced and need great folks with good heads
on their shoulders to help us make a great product
We’ve been around for a while now (since 1998)
so we pretty much know how to build a fantastic product; we just need
more people to help us do it. Our
client list includes the likes of Activision, Disney, Electronic Arts,
HP, Microsoft and Sony. P44 developed titles that have reached the retail
shelves include Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground for Wii and PS2, Tony
Hawk’s Project 8, Godfather: Mob Wars, Gretzky NHL 2005 & 2006
for PS2 and PSP, the EA Sports Big hit "Freekstyle", and EA
Sports' NHL 2001 and SuperCross 2001. As mentioned above, we are
currently working on an extremely high profile multiplatform project to
be announced.

Requirements
- Proven C/C++ skills and at least 3 years
of experience with game development
- Strong 3D graphics and math
background
- Strong work ethic
- BS/MS in Computer Science or
equivalent
- Exemplary communication skills, oral
and written
Desirable
Skills
- Wii, PS2, PS3, DirectX, and/or
Xbox360 experience

Experience with networked
games
-
Capable of writing or
contributing to a highly optimized console rendering system from top to
bottom.
- Low
level assembly experience (MIPS, VU code)
- Experience
with programmable graphics hardware (i.e. writing shaders)
- Worked
extensively on a game engine or renderer
- Experience
porting to new hardware
- Working
knowledge of character animation techniques
- Experience
working on AI for a sports or action title; able to setup scripting
systems
- Solid
understanding of the underlying issues and systems in a networked console
game.
- Able
to architect a cross-platform build process.
- Experience
making tools for artists, programmers, and production
- Knowledge
of rigid body systems, articulated physics, collision detection
- Experience
managing a team, scheduling, and/or project management
- Proponent
of good software practices
