Description:
Page 44 is
currently looking for a highly talented Gameplay Engineer to
innovate and create on a high profile title. You should be
able to handle creating gameplay experiences using our
proprietary technologies; this involves:
-
Code a game in
C++
-
Create GUI’s and
HUDs with the assistance of artists
-
Help specify and
design art and animation, as well as integrate those assets
into living, breathing games
-
Guiding design and
production on how to make a game great

Requirements:

Proven C/C++/C#
skills and at least 3 years of experience with game
development
·
MANDATORY: At least
1 year working on a current generation
console
·
Exemplary
communication skills, oral and written
·
Strong work
ethic

BS/MS in Computer
Science or equivalent
Desirable
Skills:
·
Wiimote control
experience
·
Xbox 360, PS3, Wii,
PS2, PSP, and/or DirectX
experience

Working knowledge
of character animation techniques

Proponent of good
software practices

Experience with
networked games
·
Capable of writing
or contributing to a highly optimized console rendering system
from top to bottom.

programmable graphics hardware (i.e. writing

on a game engine or renderer

Experience porting
to new hardware

tools for artists, programmers, and
production

Knowledge of rigid
body systems, articulated physics, collision
detection

Experience managing
a team, scheduling, and/or project

Python and GUI programming

Maya API programming
